Greetings from s'inspire des carte postales. Combinant deux techniques souvent utilisée dans ces représentations (la vue panoramique et le pèle-mêle), l'illustration symbolise ainsi notre vécu de la ville

de Wellington. 

Parcourir les rues est une expérience tangible, physique, d'où le choix  d'une technique représentant cette matérialité. Le papier découpé, dans sa superposition de couches,  apporte une vibration particulière que le dessin ou la photographie n'auraient pu atteindre.

Rather than looking for a beautiful view or a pèle-mêle like people usually do, the aim was to combine these two facts in order to make one single artwork reflecting our personal experience of Wellington city.
The technique itself stands for materiallity, in this century where things become more and more immaterial. But to wander a place is a total and tangible thing to do. Accumulations of layers bring a vibration that a drawing or a photography cannot reach.
